WHY DO WE ALSO OFFER MORE RECENT PRIVATE EQUITY FUNDS?
The idea is not to focus solely on the big managers, because there are plenty of funds that are much more local.
And I've come across some in my career, because even though I was at Carlyle, we also invested in companies that weren't necessarily American multinationals.
As a result, we've come across some very good managers. Initiatives that have taken place over the last ten or fifteen years. And we'll be selecting these people too, because they belong on our platform in the European midcap category.
Now it's true that, to be honest, we can't offer everything straight away, but it's clearly something we're aiming to develop.
